Herbal Medicine, also known as Herbalism or Phytotherapy, is the traditional medicinal practice of using herbs and plant extracts to promote good health. Herbalism is the oldest form of medicinal healing and has been used by all people for millennia. In this weekend we journey through the world of Herbal Medicine, completely immersed in Nature. We start Friday with an introduction to the topic and a presentation on Bach Flowers. We continue Saturday with some Theory and a Walk to identify and learn how to recognise the most important medicinal herbs in the region of South Alentejo. Then Sunday we dive into the Practice and learn how to make herbal preparations that can be used to promote good health and enrich our lives. There will be accomodation options available in loco as well as optional meditation and yoga practices for those who wish to fully enjoy this time in nature to relax and nurture themselves. Note: For residents in the district of Odemira, it is possible to attend Saturday and Sunday's workshops as daily events. However, the participation on Sunday's workshop is limited to those who have completed the Saturday module.
