YOGA & MEDITATION
Yoga means Union – union with the Divine, with the Great Cosmic Consciousness. Nowadays, the term is most commonly used to refer to the practice of physical asanas (postures), but Yoga is much more than that – it is a state of beingness. In reality, through practices of Asanas (postures), Meditation and others, yogis aim to reach a state of profound stillness, inner peace, well being and consciousness. “Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees." - Iyengar.
Yoga Asanas and Meditation are incredibly powerful tools for self-discovery and inner-growth, and that is why they are the backbone of most of the work we do here at Casa Nacura.
Bindu, our resident Yoga and Meditation Teacher, is adamant on how Yoga has been, and continues being, one of the most transformational journeys of her life: "My practice has supported me on my journey, through the happy times and the rough times, through the challenges and the hardships.
